Building a fundamental awareness around the effects of trauma as well as the need to cultivate environments that nurture social-emotional behavioral and mental health has come to the forefront of school and community initiatives.
This workshop will present research that reveals the adverse effects of trauma and the significance of social-emotional, behavioral and mental health in child development that strongly influences the future of a child’s ability to learn, build and maintain healthy relationships, and sustain a healthy lifestyle.
